The Techwear katana Umbrella is a long black umbrella whose handle is shaped like a katana grip: a wrapped, textured black handle with a round guard between the grip and the shaft. Closed, it slides into a long black carry sleeve with a shoulder strap, so you can wear it across your back.
Three versions are sold, by number of ribs: 8 Bones, 16 Bones and 24 Bones. The 8-rib canopy has the classic wide shape, while 16 and 24 ribs give a rounder canopy with more panels. Open, the canopy measures about 104 cm across and 120 cm along the curve, and the umbrella is about 94 cm long.
The canopy is a 210T fabric on steel ribs and a steel shaft, with a plastic handle. It opens automatically with the button and closes by hand.
