The Glowing Moon Y2K Necklace hangs a small round stone inside a caged setting, tucked into an openwork crescent moon with swirling cut-out patterns. In daylight it looks like a delicate pendant in a silver color finish; in the dark, the stone gives back the light it has taken in and glows softly, with no battery and no switch.
The crescent and the chain are alloy, and the cage holding the luminous stone is copper. Silver color here names the shade of the finish, not the metal. The pendant measures 3.2 cm and hangs on a 45 cm chain with a 5 cm extender, so it can sit at the collarbone or slightly lower.
Four glow colors are sold: Blue, Light Blue, Green and Purple. Leave it under a lamp or near a window for about half an hour before going out, then wear it to a night out, a festival or a concert where the glow really shows. It layers well with a choker or a thin chain and makes an easy gift for anyone into Y2K or celestial pieces.
