The Katana Umbrella is a long black umbrella with a handle shaped like the grip of a samurai katana: a wrapped, textured grip, a round guard and a black end cap. Closed and carried on the shoulder, it looks like a sheathed katana; opened, it is a wide classic dome umbrella.
The canopy is black 190T fabric on steel ribs, with a plastic handle and an automatic opening button. You choose the number of ribs: 8 Bones for a simple, light frame, 16 Bones or 24 Bones for a rounder canopy with more panels. The size chart in the gallery gives about 105 cm across the canopy, a total length of 95 cm and a 25 cm handle. A fabric carry sleeve with a shoulder strap comes with it.

What is the difference between 8, 16 and 24 bones? The number of steel ribs: more ribs give a rounder canopy with more panels; the look of the handle is the same.
How does it open? Press the button above the handle and the canopy opens automatically; it closes by hand.
Is there a case? Yes, a fabric sleeve with a shoulder strap to carry it on your back.
